Why You Should Register for AppleProAudio.com
Why register for AppleProAudio.com? Well, there are a number of benefits to registering. First, and we can't stress it enough, we don't spam our membership. We don't give out your information to anyone, ever, and we only contact you if its for something important like letting you know about a cool contest and if you have won our monthly give-away. However, you can choose to use the site without ever registering, but if you do, you can't win a contest prize drawing, and you can not use any of the features of the site. Registered users can make comments on stories, create their own blog here, post to message forums and much more. What else? Read on.....What features? Automatic Contest Entries are the primary reason most people go ahead and register for the site. Once you register you are automatically always entered into each and every give-away we have each month or so. You don't have to do anything to be entered to win most giveaways we have on AppleProAudio.com, just sign up once and you're in for life. So even if you never use any of the other features of the site, sign up just to be entered to win cool stuff you can use, from software to hardware.
Posting Your Company News Story - First of all, registered users can submit their own news stories for our readers. If you represent a company and want to make sure your news story gets on our front page, simply log into the site and click on Submit Your News. You can use HTML tags to make your story stand out, such as posting an image hosted on your site by using the image tag. Please align your image to the right when you post one, its simple. if you're not sure how to do it, Google up "html image alignment tag" and Google any other
HTML tag you want to use, like Bold, Italic, H Ref linking, making an email link in your story, or more.
When we see your story is waiting it will get first priority for posting if you've done the work for us and made it easy to just OK the story as-is. We prefer that most of the story go right into the first box, label "Story lead-in" in the Add New Article" area. If the story is exceptionally long, then break it up by putting the rest of it in the "Body Text" portion. All news stories feed out through our RSS feeds to hundreds of other sites and also feed automatically into our OS X Dashboard Widget, which has been downloaded and installed on over 100,000 Macs around the world.
Writing Product Reviews is a feature of AppleProAudio.com open to our registered users. If you want to review a product and tell the world how it worked for you, here's a great place to do it. Just like adding a news story, the Write A Review feature acceptance all of the same HTML tags a news story accepts. Take a look at other reviews on the site to get an idea of how to format your stories. If you get stuck or need help adding code, then just post the review and image links, and we can pretty it up for you. Your fellow readers will love to know how you view a piece of gear or software and value your opinions, so feel free to add your review.

From studios to manufacturers, to engineers and producer, all manner of categories are there waiting for you to use, all for free, but you can only do this by signing up for AppleProAudio.com. For years we published the Recording Industry Sourcebook, an annual $80 600 page print directory containing this same kind of data, and these days, the data is free with the advent of the Internet. If you want to have site visitors and members find out about your company's products, services and more, the Audio Industry Links feature of AppleProAudio.com is a wonderful free feature of this site, so sign up today and we'll approve your submission as soon as possible.
Free Software Downloads is an area you can access to not only download software demos, shareware and freeware programs, but if you are a software publisher and want to put your software up for site members to download here, you can only add it to the site if you're a registered user of AppleProAudio.com, and again, registration is cost and hassle-free.
User Account Features is an area registered users have access to that give them the ability to send and receive private messages within the site, create or change your avatar for the forums, configure comments, extend profile information and see a summary of your comments and news submissions in one place. And as we add features to this site, more things will pop up that you'll be able to do just because you took a few minutes to register.
These features alone make it worth registering, and we appreciate you doing so. What's in it for us since we don't sell your info or spam you? Its simple. It gives us stats to tell our advertisers and supports, so they know how many visitors we get here, and how many are qualified registered users who are really interested in their products and services.
